The Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia (SBN) is a community of local independent businesses that demonstrates the degree to which businesses can build profitable enterprises while serving community needs and protecting the environment. SBN's missions is to build a just, green, and thriving economy in the Greater Philadelphia region.

Since 2001, SBN had been the region's leading advocacy and membership organization for businesses committed to improving their environmental and social impact as well as their profitability.

The Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) Partners, a signature initiative of the SBN, is a network of local businesses in the green stormwater infrastructure industry, including firms in GSI design, construction, and maintenance, as well as material supply. [link to GSI Partners Press Kit].

SBN is also a founding member of the Business Alliance for Local Living Economies(BALLE), an network of social entrepreneurs across North America representing more than 80 networks and 22,000 businesses. SBN is also an active organizational member of the American Sustainable Business Council (ASBC), a national mission-aligned organization that advocates for policy change at the federal and state levels.
